As of August 6, 1998, Teachnet is referring all users of our keypals area to the ePALS web site. There are several benefits in using the ePALS service. Submissions are verified by the ePALS staff before listing on their website, a powerful search engine simplifies finding the right match for your class and ePALS currently has many more keypal listings than Teachnet to choose from. Founded over 2 1/2 years ago, ePALS is the leading keypal site on the internet with over 5,900 classrooms from 73 countries around the world currently participating. Participation is limited to teachers, school administrators and home schooling parents. For obvious security reasons, submissions from students or children are not accepted. ePALS advanced search engine provides a variety of searching options to meet the requirements of a broad range of users.
