Math=Art A different approach to introduce your elementary students to multiplication is to combine it with art. Have them draw and cut out at least a dozen small images, about 3 cm. square. Then help them arrange and rearrange them on their desk to represent multiplication facts. For example, regroup 12 objects to represent 1x12, 3x4, and 2x6. When done, let them glue their art objects to a sheet of construction paper to make a picture.
