Filing Early
Filing Early: Have your kids keep a "What's Cool" file, of items clipped from newspapers and magazines, items that make them say, "wow, that's neat." And build in some organizational skills by having them make file folders for different categories. They can use construction paper folded over with a hand-cut tab like a file folder, and label with headings like science, math, people, etc.
